A gleam in the eye of the Father. A spark in the womb of Mary. An ember in a Bethlehem manger. A world set ablaze by a Savior. Let us not be content accessorizing our cultural darkness with Christmas lights, but rather let us bring the Light of the world to the shadows.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8: 12)
